Michael & Jacqueline May 2012

I got a last min call from Wing and I contacted Michael straight.

I didn't realize until Wing told me that Michael is actually working one block away from my office.
That's convenient! I suggested to him that we meet at Old Town White Coffee.

There you go, he didn't say much in the meet up and I tried so many ways to dig more info. I asked him whether he can accept humour style, conventional style or formal style. He prefer conventional type, means no jokes, no fun games on the stage and I feel like he want to finish the event quietly. Weird.

I asked again what his wife would prefer. He took a long pause and told that she might prefer the dinner more lively, happening and fun.

"It'd be best if you can discuss with your wife and see which style you both would prefer. Some may like humour sense, some may like serious and no joke type or some may like fun. Better get an agreement." I suggested.

I could sense that it would happen the bad cup cake experience to me again (in one of my those days events which I was told by groom to get the cupcakes by his bestman but the bride prefer the hotel guys to do it instead and put a blame on me). Sometimes we have to get to know who is the "real boss" behind the wedding event. If I discuss with the groom, but in fact the wife is the real boss, we would be in difficult situation if we didn't deliver what the "real boss" expected.

So few days before the event, I got to know that both of them in fact like some casual-humour style.

I met Jacq first time on the day. She is such a gorgeous and elegant bride. They have been dating for 8 years! Can you imagine?

" Jac is so beautiful. How can you keep Jacq waiting for 8 years?" I teased him on the stage.
" Why not?" he answered naughtily.

Haha...see, he can make some jokes on the stage.

Then Beat Music perform a dedicated song for couple's mothers in celebration for Mother's day and they took the chance to share the love to their moms. Aw...I felt touched.

Below is their testimonial:

Impressive! A performance nearly flawless from the band & emcee!
Limited time was given to Wing & Jess to prepare (very limited... ok, I approached them like a week prior the dinner) and still they were organized in professional manner.
Jess is cute & young yet a skilled presenter in realizing the desired dinner atmosphere.
The fact that the guitarist and keyboardist sing well too added alternate flavor to the music show.
Beat Music should be at the top 3 of the list for the newly wed who are hunting for a live performer for their unforgettable moment.
